Sea Kayaking
There are beautiful kayaking routes in Majorca. The perfect area is between Portopetro and Cala d’Or. It’s a 12-kilometre route where you can discover beautiful little coves and there’s nothing too challenging about it, making it also perfect for families with kids.
Jet skiing
Everybody can go jetskiing. You don’t need a license for it and it is great fun! There are different circuits you can take from Alcudia or Palma. Turn the motor on and ride the ocean. It’s an amazing feeling!
Sailing
Traditional sailboats, catamarans, and yachts, there are many dream boats you can hire for a full-day or half-day trip around Majorca. You can sail to the island of Formentera or Es Vedra. You can have a sunset cruise with dinner and all or a fun sailing trip in the daytime, combined with swimming and snorkelling.
Windsurfing
The best areas for windsurfing are the Bay of Palma, Playa de Palma, El Arenal and Playa de Alcudia. The winds are favourable here and you are bound to have great fun on the water. Rent a board or go for a lesson if you’re a beginner!
Diving
The underwater world around Majorca Island is just as astonishing and diverse as the island itself. You can spend days on end exploring the world beneath the surface and experience close encounters with sea creatures. Cabrera is one of the most beautiful places to go diving in Majorca as it is in conservation since 1991. Only 2 dive boats are allowed to go there per day so you do need to make a booking in advance but its’ worth it!
Kitesurfing
The coastline of Majorca is 550 kilometres long. The wind blows across the island of Majorca from different directions and it sets the perfect conditions for kitesurfing. The kitesurfing spot is located in the north of the island in Pollensa. The best news is, you can do it all year round.
