Where to Get Specialty Coffee in Majorca

Do you belong to that group of people who checks out where to get a decent cup of coffee before anything else at your holiday destination? Well, you will love Majorca! Not only will you love the island’s diversity, natural beauty, beach clubs, old towns and scenic drives, but a true coffee fan will love the specialty coffee in Majorca. There are so many cool coffee cafes and breweries where you can be sure the coffee is excellent. Here’s a selection of our favourites:

1) La Molienda

La Molienda roasts their own coffee beans on-site. This fabulous cafe was started by the 3 friends Majo, Miguel and Tony. These guys know coffee alright! Located in the heart of Palma, you will want to come in here every morning for your daily caffeine shot. Oh, and their smoothie bowls are as delicious as they are beautiful.

2) Mistrall Coffee House

The founders of Mistrall Coffee House set out to bring specialty coffee to Majorca. They developed their own roasting style and work closely together with the farmers from who they source their single-origin coffee beans. The roasting is done here in Palma. You can be sure of excellent coffee! Mistrall Coffee is located in the Old Town of Palma. The cafe has an urban, industrial vibe you’ll love.

3) Arabay Coffee

Arabay is one of the most popular cafes in Palma and their home-roasted, freshly-brewed coffee surely has something to do with it! These guys have been roasting since 1952 so they know what they’re doing alright! Arabay is a 3-level coffee bar located right in the buzzing centre of Palma, next to Plaza Mayor. They have a roastery on-site and do special coffee tastings. You can also join in for a barista course if you’re up for it.
