The master bedroom features a wide double bed with a vintage-style wooden headboard. Parents planning to travel with children will be delighted to hear that bedrooms two and three are both twin rooms with two comfortable single beds. You will fall in love with the gardens at Villa Trout as soon as you step out through the beautiful glass doors. You’ll find yourself on a shaded veranda with a small dining table, the perfect place for a cup of morning coffee as you plan the day ahead. As you walk forward away from the villa you’ll find the 8x4 metre swimming pool which has a shallow end so that everyone in the family can enjoy the pool in safety. The pool is surrounded by colourful lounge chairs and overflowing plant-beds. Throughout the garden, you’ll find cute little walkways through the foliage, one of which leads to a quiet barbecue nook with a brick grill and al fresco dining table.
The traditional style isn’t exclusive to the bedrooms and actually runs throughout the house. When you enter the house through dramatic wooden double doors, you’ll find yourself in the open-plan living/dining room and kitchen. With a massive L-Shaped sofa, games table and TV, the living area is easily the cosiest part of the house. The dining area is located in a bright corner of the room between two large windows. Instead of a traditional dining table, Villa Trout has a polished picnic bench which gives the room a quirky, nostalgic vibe. This is where you’ll eat the delicious meals that you prepare in the fully-equipped kitchen which features a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and more.
Villa Trout comes with WiFi internet, air-conditioning and final cleaning included in the booking price. The owner offers a ping-pong table, pool fence and a cot which can be brought to the villa in time for your arrival so long as you get in touch in advance. As the name might suggest, Villa Trout is located just three kilometres from Pollensa Old Town in a quiet, hillside neighbourhood. Pollensa is a dream for history lovers. This beautiful town has been inhabited for over three thousand years and boasts gorgeous Roman, Arab and Mediaeval Spanish architecture. Elsewhere in the region, active holiday-makers will love the hiking and cycling trails in the Sierra dude Tramontana mounts and Albufera natural park. If you prefer a slower pace of life, head to Alcudia or Muro to enjoy golden sand beaches and vibrant restaurants and bars.
