Located in a quiet rural area between the popular seaside town of Can Picafort and the authentic country-town of Muro, Villa Flor de Sal is a modern family villa, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Offering three bedrooms, a living/dining room and full kitchen within its tasteful air-conditioned interiors, you’ll never want for comfort or convenience during your stay. That being said, you’ll likely spend most of your holiday outside in the glorious Mallorcan sunshine. The villa’s garden features sprawling lawns and a shaded terrace with a dining and barbecue area, though its centrepiece is no doubt the large, child-friendly swimming pool.
All three bedrooms at Villa Flor de Sal fit in with the house’s general modern style, though also incorporate some cosy traditional elements such as beamed ceilings. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and has access to a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are both twin rooms, each with two single beds. These two rooms also have their own ensuite bathroom, one of which is a full and one of which is a half-bath.

The centrepiece of the garden is without a doubt the 9x5 metre swimming pool. With a minimum depth of 0.6 metres, the shallow end allows even the youngest members of the family to play safely in the cool water.
The interiors at Villa Flor de Sal are cool and contemporary, designed with sleek lines and modern metallic colours. You’ll likely spend most of your time inside in the open-plan living/dining room. This is the perfect place to enjoy a movie, displayed on the flat screen TV, from the comfort of the plush leather sofa as you relax under the air-conditioning. The villa also feature fully-equipped kitchen with modern fittings, including a stove, oven, fridge-freezer and more. The vibrant town of Can Picafort, with its beautiful beaches and ocean activities, is just 10 minutes away. You can also easily reach the authentic village of Muro, which features a charming old town with numerous cafes and restaurants and the famous Mallorca Ethnological Museum.

9.8/10The stay was very pleasant. Check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and smooth. The villa is very modernly furnished and clean, but the kitchen is a bit sparsely equipped. The beach and shopping facilities are about 10 minutes away by car. The outside area is also very well maintained. As there was no water source far and wide, there were a lot of thirsty wasps by the pool throughout the day. However, this was not disturbing for us as the wasps were not aggressive. We felt very comfortable and would therefore definitely book this villa again and recommend it. The additional costs for the air conditioning are very low and amounted to CHF 21.30 during our stay (7 nights).
10/10Amazing Villa. Perfect for a Covid-19 getaway. There was no heating in the living room when I arrived, so the owners provided two heaters and installed a brand new air con with heating the next day! Outstanding. Contact with the rental company was also very good. The only thing that could be improved is the decor. Onetwo paintings on the wall here and there, something like that. But I guess you don‘t need all that when you are outside in the beautiful garden area all day anyway. Would love to come back.
10/10The views are stunning. The house is super clean and the owners ensured the pool and garden were always spotless. Can Picafort is super close which makes it very easy to go to the supermarket out for dinner. We loved it an recommend it fully.
