Moss House

There are three bedrooms at Moss House, each of which is designed in a traditional style with ceiling beams, terracotta tiles and fluttering white curtains. That’s not to say that the conveniences and creature comforts of modern life have been forgotten. All of the beds are complete with high-quality mattresses and linens, and every one of the rooms has access to a modern, ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom features a large double bed while the other two rooms are both twin bedrooms with two single beds, making this the ideal villa for parents travelling with children.

Located in the peaceful countryside and surrounded by lush hedges and whitewashed walls, the garden at Moss House is wonderfully private and secluded. Your day in the sun begins with coffee or fresh orange juice on the outdoor sofas, shaded beneath a pergola. This is followed by a dip in the 9x4.5 metre pool or some time reading a book on one of the poolside loungers while the children play on the lawn. When the sun begins to set, gather the family around the al fresco dining table on the shaded veranda for a grilled feast prepared on the state-of-the-art brick barbecue.

The indoor areas at Moss House are bight, spacious and comfortable. With beamed ceilings, terracotta floor tiles and traditional wooden furnishings, there is a distinctively timeless atmosphere throughout the house which encourages you to leave the stresses of daily life at the door. The man room is an open-plan living and dining room. The living area is the perfect place to curl up on one of the plush sofas and watch some TV while you enjoy the breezy chill of the air-conditioning. The dining area is beautifully designed with a hardwood table beneath a simply chandelier. If you choose to eat at home and not in one of the several restaurants in the nearby town of Pollensa, you’ll cook dinner in the fully-equipped country-style kitchen. This delightfully airy space features an oven, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer and more so you can try your hand a preparing traditional Mallorcan dishes made with fresh produce from the market.

Guests at Moss House are treated to complimentary WiFi, air-conditioning and fine cleaning. For an extra cost, you can arrange for a table-tennis table and/or pool fence to be installed in the garden in advance of your arrival.
