When you first step out through the glass double doors from the living room, you’ll find yourself on a furnished shaded patio, where you can enjoy a morning coffee in the outdoor living area or a barbecue feast around the al fresco dining table. This patio looks out over the 8x4 metro swimming pool, perfect for cooling off on a hot, Balearic afternoon. The pool is surrounded by loungers and sun chairs from which parents can supervise their children as they splash in the refreshing water.
The interiors at Finca Orvay are characteristically charming and comfortable, designed in a homey, contemporary style with some touches of traditional Mallorcan flare. The main room is the spacious, open-plan living/dining room and kitchen. The living area is the perfect place to recline on one of the cosy sofas, loaded with blankets and pillows, while you watch a movie on the satellite TV. The icing area also features a large traditional fireplace, which you can just imagine as the hearth on which a Mallorcan grandmother is cooking a hearty stew. Your meals will be prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen, which features everything that you need to prepare relaxing home favourites or ambitious local dishes to delight your family. These can be enjoyed around the large dining table, or if it’s a more casual meal, at the breakfast bar.

10/10Finca is absolutely as described. It was very clean and what I found really great was that everything was there. From hair dryers, towels for the loungers and even charcoal. Everything was there, especially in the kitchen. Salt, trash bags, even laundry detergent. The finca is very remote, which is how it is described, but it was very pleasant. Nothing and no one bothers you.
