The 4 bedrooms of Son Pons sleep 8 guests, and are built over 2 storeys of the villa. On the ground floor, guests will find the first bedroom configured with 2 single beds and has its own ensuite bathroom. Head upstairs and the 3 other bedrooms await - where 2 of them have double beds and the other offering 2 single beds. These bedrooms share 2 communal bathrooms that come with shower room fittings. Guests will be delighted to see that the rooms all have stone-textured walls on one side that add that touch of authentic and classic charm to the space, enhanced only by wooden ceiling beams and other wood-based furniture and furnishings.

The villa’s exteriors are expansive and marvellous thanks to the clever preservation of the many olden-day elements like the natural stone walls and old wooden benches that guests will notice as soon as they enter the driveway after passing through the large iron gate guarding the front. Featuring lush green lawns planted with olive trees and broad leafed-plants, guests can truly soak up the atmosphere by taking their seats at the sunbeds or alfresco spot by the grass, or another alfresco space under cover. The unique swimming pool is designed like a hot tub with metal steps for guests to climb up and into the water, with sunbeds lining its side for guests who prefer napping or sunbathing instead. The main alfresco dining spot is a major appeal with an arched or curved shelter architected with stone slabs that also host an outdoor sink and kitchen for guests to dine and spend their time like royalties.
Inside the house, the superb amalgamation of classic and modern as evident in the new-age furniture and ancient walls and other interior structures offer a rustic warmth of the olden days that is injected with a fresh lease of life. The living hall is functionally arranged with sofas around a wooden coffee table and a television hinged on a stand, with the adjacent staircase leading upstairs. Enter through an arched section and guests will find a long hallway consisting of a second living hall with a built-in fireplace, followed by the classic dining room. On the far end is the fully-equipped kitchen space that is relatively spacious with wooden cabinets and modern appliances installed for guests’ ease of cooking.
The villa is WiFi enabled and equipped with SAT-TV (350 channels) to keep guests entertained and occupied throughout their stay. The staff will also perform disinfection and cleaning of the villa prior to guests’ arrival, and provide clean bed linens and bath towels for guests. There is an open space parking for guests who drive, as well as a heater facility on demand during cooler days which guests can request to have.
Villa Son Pons is located specifically in Llucmajor of south Mallorca, which is about 26km from Palma de Mallorca and 16km from El Arenal. Llucmajor is an island town with a long history in agriculture and craftsmanship, and hosts various notable landmarks including churches and other old buildings alongside newer properties, a precise reflection of the villa’s architecture that takes after the town.

Quiet location just outside the small town of Llucmajor, where you get everything you need for your daily needs the car is a must. We had a great time and felt very comfortable at Villa Son Pons. We will be back with pleasure!

In the morning you wake up listening to the birds singing and enjoy stunning views of the vineyards and mountains from each bedroom. We really appreciated that you have access to the outdoor area and pool area from both the living room and each bedroom. The nearest village of Felanitx with supermarkets, grocery shops, shopping, bars and restaurants is 3 minutes away by car.
